AI mock interview practice

Practice the interview before it happens.

An AI interviewer runs a real voice interview, then InterviewSparrow hands you an honest, evidence-backed read on how you actually came across — so the real one isn’t the first time you hear it.

You take the interview on a desktop or laptop, with your webcam on and your whole screen shared. It does not run on a phone.

Narrator: You haven’t interviewed in years, and the real round is next week.

Narrator: Meet InterviewSparrow. Practice the interview before it happens.

Narrator: Sign up, and your first four credits are on the house. Then pick a pack: one credit is three minutes, ten cover a 30-minute interview, and credits you buy never expire.

Narrator: Add your résumé and the job description. The role and level fill themselves in, and you see exactly what the interviewer will focus on.

Narrator: Choose 30 or 60 minutes, then a quick check of your mic and the screen you’ll share.

Narrator: Then it begins, out loud.

Interviewer: Walk me through a project where the deadline moved, and you had to decide what to cut.

Candidate: Our checkout launch moved up two weeks, so I ranked the work by how many accounts each piece blocked.

Interviewer: And what did you cut?

Narrator: It listens, follows up, and keeps time, like a real interviewer.

Narrator: About three minutes after you finish, your report is ready.

Narrator: A clear verdict. Seven dimensions, each scored against a strong-performance bar. What worked, what was missing, and your own words, replayed. Then the three things to fix first.

Narrator: Practice again, and watch the trend.

Narrator: Hiring? Add a job, invite candidates, and read a hiring report for each one.

Narrator: InterviewSparrow. Practice the interview before it happens, at interviewsparrow.ai.

The basics

What you can count on

Every line below is a property of how InterviewSparrow is built — not a promise about how well your round will go.

  • Evidence-based scoringSeven dimensions, every score tied to what you said
  • Privacy by defaultDelete your account from Your data. The Privacy Policy says where your data is stored and names every provider that processes it.
  • Voice-first realismA spoken interview, not a multiple-choice quiz
  • Upfront pricingThe price you see is the price you pay — nothing added at the total

How it works

Three steps to an honest read

You give it your context, you speak your answers out loud, and you read back what came across. Nothing in between is a form.

  1. Upload your context

Add your resume and the role you’re aiming for. InterviewSparrow tailors the interview to what you’re actually preparing for.

  2. Run the voice interview

Speak your answers out loud, in real time, the way you would in the room. No typing, no multiple choice.

  3. Read your evidence-backed report

Get a seven-dimension breakdown, an honest verdict, and a Mirror Snippet of your own words — every point tied to what you said.

What you get

A report that tells you the truth

Written to be read once and acted on. Every judgement in it is quoted from something you actually said.

  • The Wow Report

A document-style read of your interview, written to be read once and acted on — not a dashboard of vanity metrics.

  • The Mirror Snippet

Hear a short clip of your own answer, fillers and pauses included. The fastest way to notice what you actually do.

  • Seven-dimension scoring

Content, structure, communication, behavioral signals, role fit, resume consistency, and applied execution — each scored 1–5 against a fixed strong-performance bar (4.0).

  • An honest verdict

A clear read on how you came across, with no flattery. The tone adjusts to your score, but the substance never softens.

  • A practice arc

Come back and watch your dimensions move session over session. Quiet records of progress, not streak-chasing pressure.

  • Your data, your call

Export your data or delete your account from one page. In a practice session nothing from your camera is recorded or sent, and your screen is not recorded as video; still snapshots of your on-screen work are kept until you delete them.

What the session looks like

Real screenshots of the product, running a sample session — not a real candidate

InterviewSparrow’s live interview screen: a glowing orb on the left under a counting-down clock, the interviewer’s question “Walk me through a project where the deadline moved and you had to decide what to cut.” beneath it, the candidate’s previous answer greyed back on the right, and Mute, Transcript and End session along the bottom.

The interviewer asks

A spoken question, tailored to the resume and the role you gave it. Nothing is multiple choice and nothing is typed.

Section A opens every report: one sentence on how you came across, a band, and the diagnostic behind it.

Section B plots your seven dimension scores, each 1–5, against a fixed strong-performance bar of 4.0 — the dashed outline is that bar.

For hiring teams

Sitting on the other side of the table

Hiring teams run this same interview against their own job description, then read a recommendation with the evidence it was drawn from. Candidates you invite take it in their own time.

  • One rubric per role

Every candidate on a job answers to the same job description.

  • Evidence, not impressions

Each score is quoted from the candidate’s own answers, linked to the transcript.

  • One credit pool for the whole team

Every interview draws from one credit pool the whole team shares — and anyone can top it up.

Questions

Common questions

The things people ask before their first round. If yours is not here, the Help & FAQ page answers the rest in one place.

No free interview, but every new account gets a 4-credit sign-up bonus toward its first interview, valid for 30 days. Peek at the sample report further up this page before you decide.

You can delete your account from Your data, and the Privacy Policy says where your data is stored and names every provider that processes it. In a practice session nothing from your camera is recorded or sent and your screen is not recorded as video, though still snapshots of your on-screen work are kept until you delete them; an interview an employer set up is recorded for that employer to watch, and the notice before it starts says so.

Your interview is scored on seven dimensions, each 1–5 against a fixed strong-performance bar (4.0). Every score is tied to what you actually said.

It is a short clip of your own answer played back to you, fillers and pauses included. It is the fastest way to notice habits you cannot hear in the moment.

Credits you buy never expire — they wait in your account until you use them. The 4-credit sign-up bonus is the exception: it expires 30 days after sign-up if unused.
